There are so many meaningful ways to support the Erie Humane Society beyond traditional donations and volunteering at our shelter. Every act of kindness—big or small—helps make a difference in the lives of the animals we serve. Whether you choose to collect much-needed supplies, host a fundraiser, craft handmade items for our pets, or simply share our mission with others, your efforts help extend our reach and impact. By giving back in your own way and on your own time, you become an important part of the compassionate community that makes our work possible.

Community Generosity
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a compassionate and generous community of animal advocates supporting our mission. As a local, independent, registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Erie Humane Society relies solely on our clinic services, modest adoption fees, grants, and the heartfelt donations of our community. Every contribution—whether it’s time, talent, or treasure—makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals we serve. Philanthropy knows no age, and we are deeply grateful for every single act of kindness that helps our shelter pets on their journey to brighter futures.
The L.L. Bean mobile marketing team surprised us when they rolled their giant boot into our parking lot and unloaded a bunch of in-kind donations!
