JOE KING'S VETERAN ADOPTION FUND

Honoring Service. Changing Lives.

Joe King's Veteran Adoption Program Logo

The Joe King’s Veteran Adoption Fund was established by U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and friend of the Erie Humane Society, Joe King, to give back to the brave men and women who have served our country. This special program provides an opportunity for veterans to find a loyal companion while helping shelter pets find the loving homes they deserve.

All funds raised through this program are dedicated exclusively to covering adoption fees for qualifying veterans. Thanks to Joe King’s generosity and the support of our community, adoption fees are waived for veterans who have been honorably or medically discharged from service.

Our experienced adoption team works one-on-one with each veteran to find the perfect match — a pet whose personality, energy level, and needs fit their lifestyle. The result is a bond built on mutual trust, healing, and unconditional love — a connection that truly can’t be matched.

By connecting veterans with homeless pets, we not only say thank you for their service, but also change two lives forever.
