Overview

Spirit of a dog sitting with its owner

The Erie Humane Society Pet Wellness Clinic is the only nonprofit pet crematory in Erie County.

We can help you with your pet’s final journey and provide you with comfort, knowing your pet stays local throughout the entire process.

Planning your pet’s end-of-life arrangements is an important decision. Think about asking your veterinarian where your pet will be cremated. You can tell them you’d like your pet to stay in Erie County and have them contact the EHS Pet Loss Services at 814-315-9854.

Our compassionate and experienced team is here to serve you. Our priority is to preserve the dignity and memory of your pet, treating them like family, and helping you through the grieving process.

EHS Pet Loss Services

The Erie Humane Society Pet Wellness Clinic is part of a registered 501-c3 nonprofit. 100% of proceeds generated by community members utilizing our pet loss and clinical services directly benefits the care of thousands of homeless shelter pets each year at our no-kill shelter, the Erie Humane Society.

As we help you make your final tribute to your pet, we hope you will feel comforted knowing that your pet’s memory is leaving a legacy for homeless animals in need.

EHS Pre-Planning Services for Your Pet

Pre-planning end-of-life services for your pet allows you to focus solely on your pet and making the most of your time together.

We work with you to choose your arrangements so that when the time comes to say goodbye, the important decisions are already in place.

While you grieve the loss of your beloved pet, you can take comfort in knowing our team will handle them with the care and compassion you expect. Our pets are part of our family, and we will treat yours with the same care and respect.

Contact our Pet Loss Services team with any questions or for more information at 814-315-9854 or email petloss@eriehumanesociety.org.
